Happy New Year!
It was a mad and furious end of the year, but we're glad to announce our new BitTorrent real-time search engine! Building on the basic concept that simpler is better, we took pains to make our new engine and interface just as simple as before while giving you more. And if you haven't noticed that we launched the engine a couple weeks ago, the better! More importantly, we've been listening to your comments and suggestions. Here are the highlights of our new real-time torrent search engine:
- Faster, faster, faster... Still in real-time, but we have made our search engine much faster. Now you can get your results in less than 5 seconds!
- Exact match search... Yes, we've taken our time getting this feature out, but now that we have the infrastructure upgrades done (last fall) and the new engine deployed, we're getting to the fun stuff. Just as in Google, Yahoo!, and Bing, just put your search in quotes and our engine will only search for exact matches.
- Sorting... Although we believe our engine will produce the best results, per your requests, you can now sort by seed, size, and date. Slice and dice to your hearts content!
- Added ExtraTorrent... Although good in of itself, what is more important is that our new engine can search even more BitTorrent sites than before without speed loss to display search results. Starting with the Top 25 (2009) as compiled by TorrentFreak, we look to bring you the most comprehensive real-time torrent search engine.
And there's more! You probably won't care about these as these features are for us, but trust me, they are cool. Makes life easier for us, and in theory, will make life easier and richer for you!
