Whew! I wanted to post something after the first 24 hours of our launch this past Monday, but it has been nonstop these last few days. We averaged 17,000 unique searchers per day, and we are still growing!
First, we would like to thank everyone for trying us out. We're happy that we're providing a service useful to so many people. About the only one unhappy is our friend, Kannan, who was disappointed that he no longer has his own private Torrent search engine! (And thanks, Kannan, for helping test the site.)
Second, we've received plenty of comments (mostly positive) as well as feedback for new features. We've tried to answer everyone who has contacted us. If we missed anyone, huge apologies. We value our users and will do our best to respond as quickly as possible.
With regards to those not so positive comments, we did run into a glitch yesterday. Our ISP partially went down and as a result left a number of you hanging with no results. Our initial impression was that our code and servers weren't up to snuff and moved our upgrade and optimization plans ahead of schedule. Needless to say, our developers feel vindicated after further digging turned up the ISP issue. What does that mean for you? Unless our ISP has issues again, you should see the site perform a bit quicker and we should be able to handle even more users.
